Help us attend the FIRST World Championships in Houston, Texas!
We want to represent Australia on the world stage, and will be competing with numerous other aspiring programmers, engineers and builders, from every corner of the world.
The Journey Thus Far
We are extremely proud of our world-class achievements, sitting top 100 in the world for OPR (a mathemematical classification of a team’s competing ability, similar to ELO in chess), and achieving the first 5 specimen autonomous in Australia.
Our current achievements this season:
- 🏆 Inspire 1 at the Queensland Regional Qualifier
- 🏆 Winning Alliance Captain at the Queensland Regional Qualifier
- 🏆 Inspire 3 at the Australian National Championship
- 🏆 Semi-Finalists at the Australian National Championship
Why?
As a community team, we are completely self-funded. While some of the costs associated with our trip to Houston have been partially covered, funds still need to go towards the development of our robot, essential game elements (we don’t have a game field!!), and plane tickets.
We have already reached out to local businesses within the community, and we would love to promote more Australian businesses on the world stage in front of an audience of over 100,000 people.
